Thank you Eric Neas | Pergola Project
If you have passed by the Pergola in the last couple of days, you’ve likely noticed an incredible makeover and/or one of our neighbors hard at work pressure washing and cleaning the pergola, sidewalk, benches, trash cans, brick and stone. It looks great, AND, the Pergola Project is just getting started.
Eric Neas (Whitfield Parc) quickly stepped up to challenge when I polled the neighborhood for a project coordinator to organize getting the pergola back in shape.
He spent 11 hours of his own time over 2 days, and did the best job imaginable.
Thank you also to Amy Howard, for donating water for the effort.
As a reminder of the work we’ll do on 7/28:
- Clean Williams Park sign stone structure
- Clean & wire brush the Williams Park metal sign
- Repaint the Williams Park metal sign
- Stain/Sealcoat the pergola wood with semi-transparent cedar by hand brush (2 people and this is the biggest effort)
- Misc landscape clean-up
- Plant dwarf tree/misc in the empty planter
I have purchased all supplies, but if you have any of the following to bring, it would be helpful:
- Ladders
- Wire brush
- Scrub brushes (for the stone)
- Drop cloths
- Battery hedge trimmers
- Pruning shears
- Gloves (I have painters gloves for the painters)
- Battery blower
Thank you,
Eric Neas
