So many things happening in October

Cool breeze. Long sleeves. Yes, please! Check out all the things happening in Williams Park and the City of Smyrna in the month of October.

WPN,

We need your help. Before COVID, WPN always had big turnouts for most all of our events. Despite our best efforts, not many people are showing up anymore. Is the spark over? Should we hang it up?

If you’re not ready to let it go, then what are some ideas to make it go?

Our fall fest is October 29th. We’re hoping to have a big turnout, but we hoped that for the two previous events we held on the Davis lawn. What would make you want to attend a WPN event again?

Some of our ideas are:

  • Live Music

  • Cooking competition (chili, bbq, baking)

  • Kids activities

  • Live Sports on TV (Dawgs, Tech, Braves)

  • Arts/Crafts

What’s your preference for food?

  • Catered Food

  • Everyone bring a dish to share

We thought about sending a survey, but we thought best for good old fashioned dialogue. Let us know what you’re thinking in the comments section below.

We are always open for suggestions too. Something we need to do better or different? Let us know.
